As a follow-up to the GIR question on glider riders using landing crafts for D-Day, I was wondeering if anyone has photos of the 502nd PIR using landing crafts for D-Day also? I interviewed a 502nd vet who was with Service Company and he said that his company made the landing using the landing craft. He never made a combat jump during his time with the 101st.

Makes sense if he was in Service Company bringing in the support vehicles.

Cheers,

Glen.
