devildog34 Posted November 4, 2011 Share #1 Posted November 4, 2011 As many of you know Smedley Butler was a very active voice during the 30's in the Bonus March in Washington. This is a pretty cool video that shows a snippet of one of his fiery speeches. Quite a sad and overlooked part of our WWI history the way these guys were received at the hands of the Hoover administration. It ultimately was a huge deal as this occurred about 3 months before the election of '32. Hope you found it as interesting as I did. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dWvCCxOUsM8
