Justin Posted November 1, 2011 Share #26 Posted November 1, 2011 Now I remember where I saw this helmet. I was thinking of buying it but it was a bit out of my range. Again, great add to your collection Owen

Luxembourg Posted July 9, 2015 Share #29 Posted July 9, 2015 I saw this topic and I recognise this helmet. After a quick research I finally found it: http://vietnam-militaria.com/arvn-ranger-biet-dong-quan-painted-panther-head-helmet-100-original/ As I looked at the other helmets that are for sale, I remarked that he has some dubious helmets? Or what are your thoughts? Here is the link: http://vietnam-militaria.com/category/head-gear/ Alex

anton67 Posted July 10, 2015 Share #32 Posted July 10, 2015 Maybe the dealer has similar helmets modeled after Mike's helmet. Or modeled after the photo above or similar photos. I wish I could find a real ARVN helmet. I am scared to death to buy one since most appear to be faked. I heard they are now making them in Vietnam and selling them to tourists. Beau-Brummel Posted July 10, 2015 Share #33 Posted July 10, 2015 They've been doing that for nearly 30 years. Maybe the dealer has similar helmets modeled after Mike's helmet. Or modeled after the photo above or similar photos. I wish I could find a real ARVN helmet. I am scared to death to buy one since most appear to be faked.
