Bay of Pigs patch

From what I have read the unit for Bay of Pigs, the 2506th Special Brigade (Brigada Asalto 2506) wore civilian-made Hunter's camouflage with this pocket patch. It's hard to tell but the patch in the photo doesn't look like this one.

Does anyone recognize the patch worn on the chest of the Cuban Liberation Army soldier?

Thanks

Matt

That soldier is a member of the Paratrooper Battalion of the Brigade 2506. I have in my collection an original Brigade 2506 patch and an original Paratrooper Battalion patch that came out of Cuba.

Thanks to both for posting! I was unaware that there was a patch for the paratrooper Bn. That certainly looks like what that soldier in the photo is wearing. I was under the impression that Brigada 2506 patch was designed/ made after the operation. True or false? Im very familiar with the history of the operation, however not the insignia.
