Brian Keith Posted November 21, 2007 Share #8 Posted November 21, 2007 Only way to upgrade those is if you found a pair with more cutter tags! Nice! BKW

Johan Willaert Posted November 21, 2007 Share #10 Posted November 21, 2007 Somehow these trousers are rather 'common' in Europe.... I have a pair exactly like these and most European collectors I know have a pair in that same condition... They all seem to have come from a same source (French Army??) sometime in the mid 80's and all were made by the King Card Overall Co... At that large auction in France last month, two of these were sold and an additional pair made by the McLaren Sportswear Co was also auctioned. Those were mint too.... Another pair was sold at the April Ciney Show and last October another pair showed up at the automn edition of the said show... The jackets in that condition though??!!??............ Nice!! VALERY Posted November 24, 2007 Share #13 Posted November 24, 2007 Absolutly desirable duckhunter pants regards Jerome Bonjour Folks, You've to know that this gentleman found three or four years ago a near mint camo HBT jacket in a Paris thrift shop for less than 20$! Cheers Valery
Andrei Posted November 24, 2007 Share #14 Posted November 24, 2007 I agree with Johan. Those pants were a pretty common sight in Europe in the early 80s. I owned four pairs exactly like Steph's, dead stock minty mint. I bought my first pair in NY at Woodhaven Antique's. Another pair (without cutter tags) in London in a vintage fashion shop for peanuts and the last two at shows in France. Finding the jacket in the same condition was another story. I dont think that the deadstock was the French Army. The uniforms worn by the French in Indochina were bought "2nd hand condition" from Filipino surplus stores in Manilla and had been already used by US troops.
