WW1 Uniforms ---> DESTROYED, The Good,The Bad & The UGLY

Recommended Posts

Well, as you all may remember, This is part of a continuing (but slow) process of liquidating alot of WW1 uniforms.

We are cutting off the patches & insignia on most of these uniforms, they are just too far gone to even think about selling.

See past links from Nov 2010 here.

sad, but at least they were saved. My great uncles when they got home from the war, built a bonfire in the backyard and tossed their uniforms on it.

Where these somebody's collection or they where just found this way?

This is part 3 of 3 different threads. In the first one it is stated that these uniforms were part of a large collection and kept in a shed. The collection was so large that these were forgotten. Over time the moth got to it.

Don't keep your treasure on earth.

Looks like some might have gotten wet as well.

Well, not exactly forgotten, just a HUGE collection that was so FULL with uniforms that the seller changed collecting interest

and he thought they would be safe in storage.

he would amass as many quality ww1 uniforms. that they were put in stock pile.

I got a call last nite since the weather was good and told to "come get more". :D

Here are a few more FULL Uniforms and patches I will be selling after the Holidays.
