jmar Posted October 1, 2011 Share #1 Posted October 1, 2011 Hello everyone, I hope everyone is enjoying the end of summer as we rapidly approach autumn. I thought I'd post this pair of Nursing Corps BOS from my scans. Very sharp detail and rivets used for the ANC designation. Not sure it's a matched set, there are subtle differences, but it could just be the dies not trimming uniformly. There's always the "tolerance" factor when it comes to manufacturing Best wishes to all! Joe

jmar Posted October 1, 2011 Author Share #3 Posted October 1, 2011 Here's a similar unmarked one from my collection. Hello Sabrejet, A nice example, thank you for posting it! It appears to have the bent pin attachment to adhere the ANC device, I also have similar made that are unmarked with the open "C" clasp. I appreciate you reading this post and adding another fine example to the thread. Best wishes! Joe
trenchbuff Posted October 2, 2011 Share #4 Posted October 2, 2011 Those are beauties! I really love the WW1 jeweler made insignia, especially BB&B. Nice find.
