GIKyle Posted September 30, 2011 Share #6 Posted September 30, 2011 This photo was part of an amazing story that ran in Stars and Stripes a couple of weeks ago - The focus was of the flight medic in the background, who is a 19 year old female who was on her 'trial runs' - If I remember right, it was supposed to be a 2 week process, but she had compiled enough hours and patients to be complete in a matter of days. Steve B. Posted September 30, 2011 Share #7 Posted September 30, 2011 Here's a link to the original Stars & Stripes article: http://www.stripes.com/calm-in-the-midst-o...nistan-1.153257 The phopto caption gives his name & unit, but I was unable to copy & paste it. Here's a link to the photo on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/#!/photo.php?f...e=1&theater One Facebook post states: "I just visited this young man Thursday night at BAMC in San Antonio. His spirits and motivation is high. He is a triple amputee, but has his sights set high to be able to continue doing the things in life he enjoys like Dirt bikes. Until then you can see him in the hospital hallways doing dounuts in his electris wheelchair."
