Gregory Posted September 23, 2011 Share #1 Posted September 23, 2011 Hello, May I ask what is this? See eBay auction No. 110746085101. Below there are images from the auction mentioned. Thanks in advance for your possible consultation. Regards Greg

J_Andrews Posted September 23, 2011 Share #4 Posted September 23, 2011 I think what doyler means is that they look TOO GOOD for VN-made. And US-made would not have been likely, within-period. The ones I knew were sand-cast from issue aviator/aircrew wings, with the "G" slapped on. There were some others, like a red cross on a disc for medevac aircrew and "CC" for crew chief. I recall seeing in CLOTH oversized aircrew wings (4"?) with "ARP" (Aero Rifle Platoon), the letters in blue (ARPs were "The Blues" or "Blue Team".) I think these were intended for use on a ball cap (probably a black one).
Gregory Posted September 24, 2011 Author Share #5 Posted September 24, 2011 Thank you very much for all pieces of information. EBayers are writing sometimes fantastic stories about their items for sale. Best regards Greg
