Camp Shelby, MS

Here are artifacts recovered from a recent archaeological excavation at Camp Shelby, MS. The artifacts all date to World War I and were recovered the remains of a mess hall incinerator. The mess hall belonged to the 137th Field Artillery, 38th Division.

Nice! I've been considering doing some digging at some old WWII Military bases here in California as well.

The item in the upper left of the 1st photo, appears to be part of a Durham Domino razor (Patented in 1907). Here's a pic of one that I have that belonged to my grandfather.

It's not yellow as it appears in the pic. The metal is chrome plated.
