Early 20's USMC Shooting Competition Badge group.

All, yesterday a member contacted me regarding the USMC shooting badges seen below. The items are in a BIN here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/110746722859?ssPag...984.m1438.l2649

 

 

 

As a matter of interest, the group is legit, very unusual to see these Division badges that are not officially engraved - none the less, found a few entries on the muster rolls to verify his involvement in competitive shooting during his enlistment. Including the Elliot Trophy Badge which is not with this group and was likely melted down at some point, as they were made w/ gold. Post enlistment, he was a member of the reserves, the muster roles do not reveal if he participated w/ reserve teams. A neat early shooting badge group, well worth the price.

Just stumbled onto this thread. Incidentally, I now own this group, for almost a year now. I was not the eBay buyer, got it through someone else, not sure if they were the buyer, either
