It's basically a remake of The Tuskegee Airmen, only ten times better.

Nice cast though! Cuba Gooding Junior also starred in The Tuskegee Airmen.

Looks like they hired the black pilot from Hart's war as well.

Can't wait for it!

You know those guys never lost a single bomber. My respect is with each and every one of them!

Air Force reported in 2008 a total of 25 bombers lost.

Under escort of the red tails? Didn't know. Tuskegee airmen movie says that ney never lost any during escort.

Thought that would be a bit too perfect

Anyway, they still did a very good job! Can't wait to see it.

Cheers

This does look good, I checked up also the Me262 being destroyed there and the Tuskegee airmen were credited with atleast 2 of these durng the war.

have you read all the comments at IMDB? geez movies are just that MOVIES full of non-accuracy they are meant to entertain and give some (aside from us historian types) folks a sense of what happened- maybe some romance for the ladies -action for the guys- no way will i expect the history channel and if I want the facts i will read a book ( i have an autographed Tuskegee book LOL) it will bring some attention to a FG that needs attention! a group of real heroes that fought the odds. knew a 15th aircrew gunner that loved the red tails breathed a little easier with them around had a lot of respect for them don't lnow about you but i will be seeing it with all the "inaccuracies".

Looking forward to it and appreciate these vets so much, I can't imagine the character it took to fight for your country when you were being discriminated against in every way, but I wish Hollywood would stop remaking subjects like this and Pearl Harbor and get to so many other subjects that haven't been touched.

How about the black 761st Tank Battallion? How about Jack Lucas, who earned MOH at age 17 after enlisting at age 14? How about Vietnam chopper pilots? How about a movie about the remarkable Desmond Doss, who was a conscientious objector yet still saved 75 men in combat as a medic?

Question: is the film about their flying and military service, or is it about their "oppression at the hands of a heartless ruling class"?

If the latter, then I won't be bothering to look for it.
