siege1863 Posted November 15, 2007 Share #1 Posted November 15, 2007 Here is something to consider the next time one sees "odd" insignia and ribbons on a uniform. This comes from the "P.O.W.-WOW!", which was the camp nwespaper for the POW camp at Clinton, Mississippi. Each issue had a section titled "Bars and Stripes" in which an officer and an enlisted man were profiled. The sketches were done from life, by an artist who was on the paper's staff. Make note of the officer's MP insignia and Air Corps wings! The write-up explains.
