iamck94 Posted September 5, 2011 Share #1 Posted September 5, 2011 When the Army introduced the AG-415 mint green shirts, that replaced the Tan shade 446 shirts worn with the Army Green Uniform, the original shoulder marks were brown. When did the Army switch to the black shoulder marks?
GIl Sanow Posted September 5, 2011 Share #2 Posted September 5, 2011 I am totally unfamiliar with brown shoulder loop slides -- they never wore these on the tan shirt. They started with green ones on the mint green shirt, then stitched to black. Is this what you mean? G
iamck94 Posted September 6, 2011 Author Share #3 Posted September 6, 2011 Sorry if I phrased the question awkwardly. Yes I am referring to the AG 415 shoulder slide on ranks, I saw some that appeared brown and someone referred to them as brown, but were in actuality green. What year did they change to black? And why?
