Bocage Posted September 3, 2011 Share #1 Posted September 3, 2011 Losheimersgraben landed in the history books because of the fierce american resistance at the start op the german offensive on dec. 16th 1944. The Losheimergraben crossroads was one of the starting points for the german Battle of the Bulge offensive, and is also known as 'Rollbahn C'. Located near 50°22'47.34"N / 6°20'32.93" E Most of the buildings are still there... The monument itself... And a more detailed view of the text.. Enjoy. Jürg Posted December 19, 2011 Share #3 Posted December 19, 2011 My dad was there with the 99th Cavalry Reconnaissance Troop, 99th Infantry Division, attached to the 394th Inf. Regt. Well, the 99 fought also in the Hasselpath near Elsenborn Ridge. Check this out against troops of the 277th Volksgrenadier Division http://standwheretheyfought.jimdo.com/j-w-...h-infantry-div/ Jürg
