Losheimersgraben landed in the history books because of the fierce american resistance at the start op the german offensive on dec. 16th 1944. The Losheimergraben crossroads was one of the starting points for the german Battle of the Bulge offensive, and is also known as 'Rollbahn C'. Located near 50°22'47.34"N / 6°20'32.93" E

My dad was there with the 99th Cavalry Reconnaissance Troop, 99th Infantry Division, attached to the 394th Inf. Regt.
