Johan Willaert Posted November 12, 2007 Share #1 Posted November 12, 2007 Following the 1ID Helmet on Ebay topic, I was wondering if anyone has a complete list of Tactical Signs that were painted on the 1ID vehicles for Normandy. These generally consisted of a small yellow and black sign painted on front bumpers and the sides of the vehicles.... Below is the example of Div HQ which had a black star on yellow background... The 1Med Bn had a chequered yellow and black square... The sign in the helmet was a black circle in yellow background with three horizontal strips, and the letter CAN... Could this have been the Canon Company of an Inf Regt? Maybe the Div's third Regt, the 26th???? Anyone know more??? Thanks, Johan Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
