Allan H. Posted November 14, 2007 Share #11 Posted November 14, 2007 What is the white patch with the black dot? Tex, I remember this patch being described to me by a veteran who served in Alaska in the immediate post WWII period. The patch depicts a polarbear in a snowstorm! I'm sure you get it- white bear on a white background with only his black nose showing. I believe that it was a novelty patch worn on flight jackets and the like. The veteran is still living and I will ask him if he recalls anything else about it. Allan
36-tex Posted November 14, 2007 Author Share #12 Posted November 14, 2007 Interesting! As strange as that sounds, it very well could be! It came with several USAF patches. See if that helps!
