Tom Pearcy Posted August 24, 2011 Share #1 Posted August 24, 2011 I have a pretty crusty foot locker that I picked up at a yard sale a long time ago. It has painted the top the gentleman's name, a winged prop, Air Service, and "bull's eye." On the end is painted 12TH 68. Question is, does anyone have any idea what unit that might be? Steindaddie Posted August 25, 2011 Share #3 Posted August 25, 2011 ... a winged prop, Air Service, and "bull's eye." On the end is painted 12TH 68. Hmmm... Any chance that "12TH 68" is actually 12TH OB as in Observation? It would be post WW1 but still Air Service. ~Will

Baker502 Posted August 30, 2011 Share #6 Posted August 30, 2011 could be 12th Company 6/8 Air Service Mechanics. Just a theory, Paul
