WWI Air Service unit question

I have a pretty crusty foot locker that I picked up at a yard sale a long time ago. It has painted the top the gentleman's name, a winged prop, Air Service, and "bull's eye." On the end is painted 12TH 68. Question is, does anyone have any idea what unit that might be?

Any chance of a photo?

Hmmm... Any chance that "12TH 68" is actually 12TH OB as in Observation? It would be post WW1 but still Air Service.
