Traveling Gallery World War I Museum

Today I checked out A traveling Gallery from the National World War I Museum. They have an expandable semi trailer traveling to 76- cities as a fund raiser. Here in Lincoln the donations are to be split 50-50 with the Nebraska State Historical Society Museum. This gallery gives an over view of WWI with text and photos with artifacts from the war. It is not a trip to Kansas City, but most people have probably never seen a WWI uniform. It not only has US items but German, British and French. The city blocked off a street for it to be set up and there was a good turn out. It was announced on the local news so if it comes to your town check it out, if you've collected awhile you have seen the artifacts, but it is worth seeing.
