This but for now we can we can say this is in probably a West German, late 60s Theater made machine embroidered on twill version. Made for 3rd Brigade of the division, which remained in West Germany when the rest of the 24th Div went to Ft Riley in 1968, the whole division including it's sister brigade in West Germany was deactivated in April 1970

The topic where it's talked about. Proud Kraut points out similarities of the rear of this 24th Division patch's weave and other West German made ones from the late 40s-60s
