WWII Crashed Aircraft Fabric Samples

This set of nine index cards was collected by USMC Captain H. J. Cornell. We have only researched the first one, from Ewa on December 7, 1941. Photos of this plane in the air and burned out at Ewa following the attack are on the internet. The Marine sergeant who fought back from the rear cockpit became a sergeant pilot the next year, was later commissioned, and flew Dauntless dive bombers throughout the Pacific. His plane was shot down once and he survived to fly again but died in a crash in New Hebrides on February 1, 1944.

do you still have these samples? Interested in attempting to match the colors as they are about as authentic as you can get
