dutchbarge Posted August 15, 2011 Share #1 Posted August 15, 2011 Hello, Can anyone tell me when serving Marines removed their AEF SSI ? I've read that the wearing of AEF SSI was only allowed in theatre, but have seen pictures of Marines wearing SSI in the immediate post-war victory parades. Does anyone have any regs on this issue? Thanks, Bill

dutchbarge Posted August 15, 2011 Author Share #3 Posted August 15, 2011 http://www.usmilitariaforum.com/forums/ind...st&p=883475 Thanks for the link. While most agree with the information regarding theatre authorization for SSI, we've all seen photos of Marines wearing them stateside in victory parades. I was hoping for a USMC reg regarding when they were officially proscribed. Cheers, Bill
