ww2vault Posted November 7, 2007 Share #1 Posted November 7, 2007 Hi, I have two Garrison caps that I bought a couple months back and never got around to posting them. After reading some past threads on the different piping on these caps I was wondering about mine. I know that even the boy scouts have caps like these as well and wondered if anyone could tell me if these are military caps or civilian caps? Thanks. - Jeff
pmshindy Posted November 7, 2007 Share #2 Posted November 7, 2007 Jeff, Looks like military to me. The piping on the "pink" wool elastique or lighter one looks like officers piping, which is black and gold. I can not tell what the other piping color is but it could be officers too. It is a nice dard wool elastique officers I think. Infantry was blue armor was green over yellow cavalry yellow, artillery was red, engineers red over white, medical purple over white....and so on. you can google garrison cap piping and you should find what ever you need. Nice garrisons and good sizes too. pmshindy
