jmpmstr Posted September 10, 2021 Share #28 Posted September 10, 2021 I’ll add to this one too. I’ve had a VHB type in my collection for many years housed with a 1/2” ribbon and screwback lapel button. I recently came upon this new guy that my gut said WW2, star size, thick swivel suspension, and the detail. When the seller verified no mark on the rim. I tossed an offer and was thrilled when accepted. I’ve taken pics of both styles for comparison.
Allan H. Posted September 14, 2021 Share #29 Posted September 14, 2021 What a GORGEOUS strike Sal! What a great example! I don't know that I have ever seen the lapel button. That is too cool. Allan
Dave Posted September 14, 2021 Share #30 Posted September 14, 2021 I'll add a link to this thread: This is my documented group, but also includes images of several other Medals for Merit, including one in a titled case.
