Medal for Merit WW II and beyond

I’ll add to this one too. I’ve had a VHB type in my collection for many years housed with a 1/2” ribbon and screwback lapel button. I recently came upon this new guy that my gut said WW2, star size, thick swivel suspension, and the detail. When the seller verified no mark on the rim. I tossed an offer and was thrilled when accepted. I’ve taken pics of both styles for comparison.
