Really interesting photos.

Especially of the TDs (of course). ;)

Thanks for posting this for those who couldn't be there.

Looking forward to more pics, Ian. I was there on the Saturday but didn't see much of the battles as i was too busy trying to find things to empty my pockets!! I will have to make next year an altogether more "economical" trip and see more of the vehicles in action.

Hi Rob. You need two days there really...one to comb the trade stands and the other to take in all of the other stuff. Waaaay too much for just one day.

Ian, looks like you had a great time, and of course nice pictures.

Hello Pat...thanks. And yes, a really great time, as always! You should pop across the Channel and come see it for yourself sometime. As a former tanker, you'd love it!

(Between us, he's a European hippie, right?) ;)

Hi Ian, seeing your photo's then I'll second that comment, it's been three years since I last went, and several people have told me that I should have gone so I will have to give it some consideration.

Not really into the battle scenario's but I know the static displays are generally great with a whole lot of work and thought going into them, and the number of dealers tables incredible.

Hi Ken...and there's an unfillable gap where "Landing's" used to be! You're right enough about the static displays. The 29th guys actually constructed a "stone" bridge and flak tower...and half buried a GMC truck! Incredible to see and logistically quite a feat. I'll add the pics later.
