Back in the 70s the Air force started to look for a replacement for the C-130. They came up with the YC-14 and the YC-15. The '15 paid Littlerock A.F.B. a visit for a couple days. This is the only shot I have of it. My wife and I went to look at it. She thought it was a nice design but it would not replace the Herk. The next day I was working and decided to patrol over to the aircraft and get a shot.

This is the material they gave out to visitors:

Neither aircraft went into production. The Russians eventually went on to fly a design very close to the YC-14 and I think the YC-15 is related to the C-17.
