Commanders of the Hawaiian Division and Hawaiian Department. I believe the Hawaiian Division commander is Major General Halsted Dorsey (based on the Distinguished Service Cross) and the Hawaiian Department Commander is Major General Hugh Drum. If so, this would date the picture to 1935.

Some more 3rd Division Gals, the gun they're observing is the Canon d'Infanterie de 37 modèle 1916 TRP (37mm mle.1916 or 37mm M1916 , HERE  It was still used in the U.S. Army post war 20s-30s, there was a Platoon of 3 Guns of these in the Regular Army Regiment, in National Guard Division, a full Company, a Company maybe in the Reserve Divisions who's elements were actively drilling too.

Not a division but the 56th Cavalry Brigade. From left, General Herbert Brees, Commander of VIII Corps, Adjutant General Harry Knox of Texas National Guard, and Brig. General Walter B. Pyron (of Houston) in charge of Camp Wolters wearing 56th Cavalry Brigade SSI. 07/13/1939.

45h Infantry Division swastika SSI.

"A member of the American National Guard, 1939. A member of the 45th Division of the National Guard removes the swastika from his uniform. The division, made up of members of the Federal States of Oklahoma, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona, took over the swastika as a symbol of happiness from the Indians, but now abandoned it because of its use by the National Socialists in Germany.

Date taken: 4 April 1939"

Several soldiers of the 40th Infantry Division during the 1930's. What is the patch worn by the soldier in the last two photos above his service stripes?

The well known 43rd Division patch with the 43 on it. Brigadier General Leonard F. Wing Sr in the 30s when he was the division's 86th Infantry Brigade Commander.

Here's several members of the 185th Infantry Regiment of the California National Guard's 40th Infantry Division. Note that most of the SSI appear to be sewn on by hand. And also note that many of the soldiers are wearing the California National Guard Honor Award for 100% drill attendance. These were most likely taken in the early to mid-30's since you can make out the dates on the bars of at least one of the badges - 1931 and 1932.
