They were flying the F9F then and were called the Candystripers / Werewolves at different times. I know the WWII era was the wolf on a bottle. Hello, the "Wolf/Bottle" emblem was carried into the 50's so this would be the one you're looking for , go to this site and you'll see an example of the latter era version, USMC VMF-122 Squadron Patch Proxibid Hope this helps !
