I found this in a grouping I was recently donated that belonged to a Navy Chaplain Captain. I Know he wasn't part of the operation as he was assigned to Marine Recruit Depot, Parris Island in 1963. Its my guess it was sent to him or given to him by his friend Cardinal Spellman as a gift. Has anyone ever seen one?

very cool! I collect Deep Freeze (and Task Force 43) goodies related to the US Coast Guard...but that is a really nice piece!

Our Lady of the Snows Shrine McMurdo Station - Antarctica

Roll Cage Mary, a.k.a. Our Lady of the Snows Shrine, a memorial to Richard Thomas Williams, a Seabee who died during the initial construction of McMurdo when his D-8 tractor fell through the sea ice.

Quite a memorial. Here's a photo of the plaque that I found online.
