It never ceases to amaze me the knowledge of the members of this website . Maybe one of you homefront experts can shed a little light on this recent find.

My field of militaria collecting is WW1 and WW2 posters. When shopping through an antique mall today I saw this and recognized it as a copy of a poster published by the House of Seagrams. It's made from a masonite-like material. The only difference between the artwork on the poster and the pinback is the pinback has one button on the mouth whereas the poster has three. I've never seen an example of one of these before.

Any information will be appreciated !!

I don't have a history about the piece, but I do like it.

My guess would be British.

Thanks Jack's Son. I know the pinback is an exact copy of the poster by Otto Soglow (1942) for the Loose Talk Can Cost Lives series'. The character depicted is a GI. I've attached a copy of the actual poster.
