gimp Posted February 14, 2013 Share #151 Posted February 14, 2013 It's the Silver/Tadpole pattern. Looks like MASH Japan repro fabric, but unusual buttons. I think the zipper and rubber was added to the shirt.

gimp Posted February 15, 2013 Share #154 Posted February 15, 2013 Not a MASH piece. Hi Bob, if this is not MASH or legit fabric, what could it be? Do you know other Silver repros from 1980 until 2000, which is close like MASH and legit tiger fabrics. The shirt from Pior has high quality made fabrics and prints. Any opinions? vintageproductions Posted February 15, 2013 Share #155 Posted February 15, 2013 MASH did not sell only loose fabric. If they didn't make something out of it, it wasn't sold. Also, the MASH silver material was a much higher quality material then the shirt shown.

Regards Piotr This pattern was sold in Japan, but I believe they came out of Thailand or Hong Kong. They made tour jackets and helmet bags with the same off green lining in them. Thanks Bob for the info, but still good fabric, print and correct stripes constellation after MASH and better than some other Silver repros. Wank Yank Posted March 3, 2013 Share #161 Posted March 3, 2013 Here is a set I bought from NCHS in 2006. I have worn them and washed them quite a bit and I must say I am pleased with them. They are marked as "ARVN TIGER STRIPE" www.NCHSINC.com is the website and several of these are listed on ebay at the NCHS store. I want to get a set of the EA golds now, great looking uniform. Dan0341 Posted March 3, 2013 Share #175 Posted March 3, 2013 Here is Bob and mine little Tiger pattern . Like I already said this is a mix of 2 patterns . The quality is outstanding . The colors are bonded into the fabric . This will fade very well . owen Hello Kammo-Man and Vintage Productions, I know this is an old post, but will this tiger stripe material ever be manufactured into blouses and trousers? Or, if it was manufactured into clothing, can you tell me where I can purchase it? I am a huge fan of Captain Willard's tiger stripe from Apocalypse Now and your mix of two patterns is the closest I've seen to Willard's tiger stripe pattern. I've posted two photos below comparing the "mix of 2 patterns" reproduction tiger stripe (your original photo enlarged and rotated 180 degrees) and a screen shot of Willard's tiger stripe. Any information you can provide on your reproduction pattern would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Dan
