Finaly we feel the lcvp touch the sand ...

Slowly the door is opening ! It's an unique vision for us !

We all land , After 4h in the channel last night without sleeping we use our last forces to advance in 1m20 of cold water .

I have been re-enacting WW2 since 1989 and have been to events all over. I can say without a doubt that this is the most amazing set of events photos I’ve ever seen. I definitely would have flown to France if I could have been assured a place on that boat (although having jumped from several landing craft in the past, I would not have been the first off the ramp). These people are to be highly commended for their fantastic effort! :thumbsup:

thats so much for posting, this is the coolest thing that i have seen done in reenacting i mean 67 years later landing on utah beach in a real higgins boat in full combat gear in historic conditions, that just Fracking awsome
