Second the museum at Fort Leavenworth is worth seeing. The Truman museum/library is also nearby and has some nice artifacts from his service in the Army. If you're feeling like a drive from here, the two museums at Fort Riley are nice as is the Eisenhower homestead/museum/library in Abilene, KS.
