Is that the MiG Killer? I know you guys operated at least one for a while. Can't remember the tail number off the top of my head though...

Yes it is, if you look at the first photo you can cee that it has the star on the intake.

Aha! Ok, missed the first pic for some reason. I saw the second shot. Great to see she's been preserved. I was looking at doing a book on ANG MiG Killers a few years ago, but just as I was about to submit the proposal, Schiffer books' MiG Killers book was released. Oh well!

Hi Jon,

Former 148th Commander had the luck to get an ME262. He was a terrific shooter with the '51 and F-94 A/B and was a major reason why the 133rd FIW won back to back gunnery meets in the 50's. Jim
