Greg Sebring Posted January 4, 2007 Share #1 Posted January 4, 2007 I thought this was an interesting item in my dad's souveniers. It's a program from a post war football game held in the Olympic Stadium. Dad has two of these against different opponents but I can only find this one in my photo files. I guess the fellas still wanted to kick some butt even after the Germans gave it up. Greg
duarte1223 Posted January 4, 2007 Share #2 Posted January 4, 2007 I have one of these somewhere in my binders for the 94th Division. Definitely interesting pieces from the post-war era! Adam
GLM Posted February 9, 2007 Share #3 Posted February 9, 2007 Here are a couple for the 1st ID vs. 9th ID at Nurnberg Stadium in Oct. 1945. The reverse of both programs state that next game will be 1st ID against 42nd ID. Gary
APO472 Posted February 27, 2007 Share #4 Posted February 27, 2007 These are always interesting and fun to read. It has always been fascinating how the names/knicknames of several colleges and universities have evolved over the years when measured against the way they are listed in these programs. This one is from one of the 101st games and they played the 71st Div.
