What an outstanding group Vic! I really enjoy seeing a great set such as this. Thanks for taking the time to share it with us!

Great grouping.  would love to see a closer photo of his yearbook portrait as I have never seen an actual print of one of these, only in the redbooks... It looks like from yours maybe they had them hold a card with their name that was later cropped out?  Please post a better photo of it if you can.   Very curious. 

 

John B Hudson appears in the 14th Marines 'Red Book' as  a corporal in Regimental Headquarters & Service Battery.  I would guess he stayed in H&S through Saipan and Tinian.  He might have been moved when promoted to 2nd Lt. in '45
