MattOravik Posted October 1, 2007 Share #1 Posted October 1, 2007 This is just a little grouping I got a few weeks ago. It came with an enlisted shirt with patches, an officers private purchase shirt with no patches, enlisted trousers and belt, 2 loose patches, a dog tag, 2 books, a bunch of small ruptured duck and Legion pins, a locket with his picture in it, a framed printout of his online WWII memorial page, and a toy M1 helmet liner. -Matt. ww2vault Posted October 1, 2007 Share #3 Posted October 1, 2007 Nice AAF grouping. You do not want to hear the sad story of the POW who served in the AAF, grouping that I was not able to attain. It had a ton of letters from when he was stationed in camps stateside and letters of when he was inside the POW camps in Germany. There were also a ton more items from the vet such as medals, uniforms, and various misc. items. It still deeply saddens me that I was not able to get this grouping..... - Jeff
KASTAUFFER Posted October 1, 2007 Share #4 Posted October 1, 2007 The green wing is actually a Girl Scout patch. The 9th AAF is English made.. nice patch! Kurt
