Hi all

Looking for info on the belt used in the PRC10 set up....such a strange belt i dont know where to start

The belt is green canvas/web...it has some form of large writing/stamp inside but is illegible

It has 2 rows of grommets...top and bottom of the belt

It has brass buckles and sliders.....but these seem to be very "British" in the style of '37 web gear belts

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Kev

Tried uploading pics...sorry pics too large

These are the threads that cover all of the components needed for the carrier. The ST-120 Carrier is attached to the M1945 Suspenders and they in turn are attached to the M1936 or M1956 Belt.

There is no special belt. The radio carrier is attached to the standard Field Pack Suspenders and either an M1936 Belt or an M1956 Belt, just like Craig said. Notice in the drawing you posted it states "Combat Belt (Not supplied)" because it's not a component of the radio, it's whatever belt the soldier has with his individual equipment.

You need to reduce the size of the images and post them if you seriously want some assistance.

it's NOT a U.S. pistol belt..looks european to me ,maybe Danish or Dutch as these countrys used there own type of P-37 webbing after ww2 right up to the 80's..i would sway toward Danish issue..vince g. 11B INF..

I bought one of these sets from overseas a couple of months ago. Belgium I think? The belt was the only thing not marked U.S. and in mint condition and the belt was in good condition not mint. It confused me until I just saw that no belt was provided with this equipment load. Makes sense now. Love this site.

I remember that this came from the Netherlands. Lend-Lease material. The inspection sheet is last dated 1978. Here is a pic of the markings and inspection sheet.
