rambob Posted April 23, 2011 #151 Posted April 23, 2011 Whenever I posted anything USMC related to this forum, I very much looked forward to Gregs responses which were always patient and informative. RIP Greg and all my best and prayers to your family. Bob
Garandy Posted August 22, 2011 #152 Posted August 22, 2011 I communicated with Greg by e-mail for years. My latest e-mails went unanswered, now I know why.. Greg sold me his War Baby book, 1st Ed, many years ago, I still have it. He also sold me a minty SA M1910 bolo. I told him my son was a US Marine, and he wished him well. I dedicate my newly purchased WW2 USMC Ka-Bar, in Gregs memory when I present it to my son when he finally gets home from deployment.. My son bought a newly made Ka-Bar at Camp Geiger, he gave it to me, but I know he really wanted a WW2 knife. Greg and I talked alot about the Western 8" knife, as well as USMC machetes..I will miss him..Andy in CT
General Apathy Posted March 24, 2017 #153 Posted March 24, 2017 . Hi Greg, six years since you untimely left the forum, it's still running thanks, you helped start something that we still enjoy today. Thanks for welcoming me onboard when I joined and the posts you added to my topics. Lewis . . . . . .
