Whenever I posted anything USMC related to this forum, I very much looked forward to Gregs responses which were always patient and informative. RIP Greg and all my best and prayers to your family.

I communicated with Greg by e-mail for years. My latest e-mails went unanswered, now I know why..

Greg sold me his War Baby book, 1st Ed, many years ago, I still have it. He also sold me a minty SA M1910 bolo.

I told him my son was a US Marine, and he wished him well.

I dedicate my newly purchased WW2 USMC Ka-Bar, in Gregs memory when I present it to my son when he finally gets home from deployment..

My son bought a newly made Ka-Bar at Camp Geiger, he gave it to me, but I know he really wanted a WW2 knife.

Greg and I talked alot about the Western 8" knife, as well as USMC machetes..I will miss him..Andy in CT

Hi Greg, six years since you untimely left the forum, it's still running thanks, you helped start something that we still enjoy today.

Thanks for welcoming me onboard when I joined and the posts you added to my topics.
