Sbas Posted September 26, 2007 Share #1 Posted September 26, 2007 Got myself something new A beautiful bullion 1st LT, 28th div shirt! Normally I dont like bullion but I could not resist this one! The 28th patch is filt, on a darker khakie background also of filt. The infantry and LT bar are sewn on by hand, but not stitched true the collar. The color of the shirt is in real life a shade of mustard/khakie. The picture doesnt make it look good. I guess this shirt is interbellum or early ww2! Does someone has other ideas about the time span this shirt fits in? CLICK ON THE PICTURES TO ENLARGE THEM!!! Sebas
Polygon Posted September 26, 2007 Share #2 Posted September 26, 2007 Looks like a fairly early WWII U.S. Army service shirt with privately made bullion, nice find. Difficult to state the period, maybe 30s-40s?
