These painted helmets are a mine field to say the least. One of my rules is to try and find painted lids from trusted forum members, direct soldier buys, or from surplus/pawn shops around bases. I try not to pay too much for my items. Painted lids are a mine field as it is, I don't like to invest a lot of money that could be fake.
