My future father-in-law, Normand Proulx, was a member of Headquarters Company of the 423rd and was captured at the Bulge. He too finished the war as a POW. We also have his dress uniform, CIB, etc. He returned home having lost 40 lbs. and died young, at 47 yrs. of age. Thanks for sharing this.
