seanmc1114 Posted April 5, 2014 Share #402 Posted April 5, 2014 "First Team's Finest" tab worn by the 1st Cavalry Division's 545th Military Police Company. I'm not sure if their wear was limited to the MP brassard or if they were also on the uniform sleeve. The first photo shows LTC George D. Ish, Provost Marshal, 1st Cavalry Division in Korea - 1960. Notice that he appears to be wearing Cavalry branch insignia instead of Military Police. http://www.545thmpassn.com/FirstTeam.htm

vzemke Posted June 2, 2014 Share #412 Posted June 2, 2014 Very possibly a US Army novelty type tab. Worn on either gear or possibly UNDER the sleeve pocket flap of an ACU coat.

seanmc1114 Posted July 14, 2014 Share #415 Posted July 14, 2014 One of the many KOREA tabs. Here with a 7th ID patch. Is this the "KOREA" tab being worn with the 7th Infantry Division SSI?
patches Posted July 14, 2014 Share #416 Posted July 14, 2014 Is this the "KOREA" tab being worn with the 7th Infantry Division SSI? Now thats a off the wall combination for the mid to late 50s, a Service Cap with Fatiques! In studying it, it's either a case of this GI skylarking and posing with his Service Cap, or it's a actual item prescribed for wear for some reason, perhaps this Norton guy is a member of a 7th Div Honor Guard if this is the latter case, thus making the tab a HONOR GUARD one? fldjr Posted July 26, 2014 Share #417 Posted July 26, 2014 Here's a "special force" tab I got a while ago in a lot of other patches. Can't find any references to it, looks like a theater made patch. Anybody know about this one? Thanks, Fred

firefighter Posted July 26, 2014 Share #419 Posted July 26, 2014 I think the SF tab is a Philippine Army one.It appears to be PI made.
tredhed2 Posted August 1, 2014 Share #420 Posted August 1, 2014 Not wanting to hijack the thread about the 30th ID SSI w/ "SS" and "FDR" added to the patch, the 36th appears to be challenging the 117th IR, 30th ID, so here's an SSI w/ two tabs.
