  1. Remembering LTC Lochhead on his birthday. RIP.
  2. LT Moore is buried at the FT. Bliss National Cemetery. Rest in Peace 1st LT Harry Moore Jr.
  3. Posting a medal grouping I acquired several years ago. Harry Moore Jr. was born on October 3, 1920 in Sierra Blanca, Texas. 1st LT Harry Moore Jr. served with in the U.S. Army Air Corps with the 388th Bomb Group/560th Bomb Squadron during WWII. According to his obituary he saw action as an Aerial Gunner. He flew 25 bomb missions over Germany and was awarded the Distinguish Flying Cross (DFC) and the Air Medal (AM) with three oak leaf clusters. From his obituary - "While returning from a raid on Stuttgart, Germany and being pursued by German fighter planes, his B-17 was shot down. cra
