  1. It's definitely real. And thanks for the links, Wake.
  2. Hi, Iron Bender, and thanks for responding. Do you remember how much the patch sold for?
  3. I hope the photos are clear enough to self describe this patch. I have photographed the front and the back. There is a close-up of the front that shows what I believe to be bullion around the red one. In the close-up of the back of the patch there appears to be residual brown thread. If more details are needed, please let me know. Skip that last close up. Im doing this from my phone and was not able to adjust the photos well enough.
  4. I originally thought this was a WWII US Army cap device, but I cant find a similar one with the same wing shape. And the eagles head is tilted upwards. Of course there are no markings on it. The brass disc is flat, not rolled. Does anyone have any idea what era it is from?
  5. Thanks so much for the help. I really appreciate it.
  6. Thanks. That gives me something to work with. I appreciate it.
  7. These fatigue pants are made of cotton, not HBT. They are faded, so the original color is hard to determine. At this point they are almost a light sage color. There are bellows pockets on each side. The pockets are approximately 4 inches from the waistband. I hope that the photo of the button fly is self explanatory. I have not seen anything like these, except in HBT. Are these even American?
  8. The shirt appears to be cotton sateen of-107 ( the color is a bit lighter in the photos). It has a covered placket, plastic buttons, an inside slash pocket and single-button cuffs. The USMC stencil is very faded, and it is hard to tell anything from that.

  10. The label on this perfect-looking pair of HBT pants is driving me crazy. I cant find it in any reference book or site. I wonder if the pants are reproductions, but they came with a top that I was able to verify. Can anyone help? Thanks.
  11. I was going through Our collection of Armored Division patches today and these two caught my eye. Can anyone speculate as to their age or origin?
