  1. Hello, (First off, I would like to say I do not own this helmet) So I was searching around on the world-wide web, when I stumbled upon this helmet. When I found it, it looked quite peculiar to me. So I would like to know what you guys think. Definatley looks original with a good amount of wear and patina, but I have never seen the paint turn that color before. So as always, all opinions are welcome thank you! -Timothy
  2. What ever the insignia is, it is definatley authentic, and makes one heck of a helmet. Good find. -Timothy
  3. I know how you feel. I put my fixed bail w/ a Saint Clair liner on eBay, (http://www.ebay.com/itm/230881945333?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649) and with one day left, its only at $40. I just have to hope that its going to shoot up at the last second. I guess the helmet market has dropped quite significantly. Definatley a good time for buyers, but not for sellers. -Timothy
  4. Oh well... No opinions. For anyone that may be interested, I put it up on eBay... http://www.ebay.com/itm/230878812283?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 -Timothy
  5. Thank you for your responses, but is there no way of identifying to whom it belonged? -Timothy
  6. Hello, This is my latest addition to my collection. As you can see it is a fixed bail with a beautiful early war Saint Clair liner. All I have is two questions. First, can anyone help me Id' this helmet? And second, what is a fair market value for the set? (The only reason I am asking is due to the drastic change we have seen in helmet prices lately). All opinions are welcome, thank you! -Timothy
  7. Hello, Once again I have stumbled across another early fixed bail and I am quite pleased. This time I was even luckier with only paying a price of $75! But the helmet does have several flaws. such as several dents and rust on the inside but hey, thats the way I like them! It definatley has seen its better days, but its from WWII, and I'm happy as can be. So please feel free to express any opinions you may have (which are always appreciated), and enjoy! -Timothy
