  1. If you're looking for a repro for a shadow box, I'd just get a cheap one. Several companies sell them. Found this one from google... Can't vouch for it though. http://budk.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=156794
  2. I'm amazed some steampunk kid didn't snatch those up. They're pretty cool looking!
  3. http://www.emcmilitaria.com/Bag_Gas_Mask_M7_p/emc2e40.htm For those seeking a rubberized gas mask bag, I bought mine from here- no mask, but a very reasonable price for an original bag. I handpicked mine at a show.
  4. I'm bringing up an old topic, but I rented "War Horse" from Netflix. It was EXCELLENT. The visuals were stunning, and the plot (despite being a bit... unbelievable) was well done. A++++!!
  5. Sorry to say I was an extra in this movie... I am a paratrooper in the scenes leading up the castle assault. The "castle" is actually the Tennessee State Prison that closed in the 40's. I agree it ended up being horrible...
  6. I have a set of binoculars that are very similar to the ones you have pictures posted of. If you look carefully on the opposite side of where the universal camera corporation logo is, you may find a British broad arrow marking. Mine was there but was very faint. I did some research on it and it appears that it is the same model that the United States was using, but was bought under a lend lease contract with the company just prior to the American involvement. The case should be US G.I. but again was sent to Britain just prior to our involvement in the war.
  7. That's pretty cool service you offer. I specifically bought a spare m 41 jacket just a try my hand at this, but I don't think I'll be nearly as good as you are.
  8. These are cool. Someone in my reenacting unit has a repro made of a Sturm reproduction shelter half.
  9. Mine are about three years old now. I can get pics if you want them...
  10. I finally found one of these locally a few weeks ago for $125. Mine is also missing the key. If you find a source, let me know!
  11. I love this group! It's the same regiment that my grandpa served in during the war. Do any of the books have a roster? I'd love to see copies of the unit paperwork one day.
  12. Looks great. I'd love to see the pics from the period cameras when they become available!
