  1. Thanks for the replies. That confirms what we suspected. Thank you. Graham.
  2. Thanks for the reply Patchcollector. Yes that is our concern. All the Meyers I see have the 90 degree camed hinge and don't have a flat back like this one. Graham.
  3. This badge belongs to a friend. We would appreciate opinions as to the originality and time period. Thank you. Graham.
  4. Small world indeed. Thanks for adding this to the thread. Graham.
  5. Nice when you pick something up at an antique fair in the UK. Well done. Graham.
  6. Just found this post. I have one of these plastic officers devices. The 'plating' is slightly peeling here and there and is like a meal foil applied over the plastic. Graham

  8. Silver plated brass is the way to go. I would also say the lack of a maker mark is in its favour. Most repro I have seen are marked. Graham
  9. A recent pick up. I collect mostly metal insignia, wings, etc. I have only a few EGAs. I assume this is cWW2. Am I correct in assuming the Anker is actually 10K gold as apposed to the more usual 1/20 10K GF. Thanks Graham.
  10. I had read with interest but tend to only post if I feel I have something to add. Would a face book style LIKE be a good idea ?
